This is just a quick question, because at the moment I don't have much time to talk. My grandfather died yesterday. I used to be very close to him but over the years a lot of things had happened within the family and things were said not to him, but to us kids... The last time I saw him was at the beginning of October, in his hospital bed. For the first time in over a year. I guess I can count the amount of times ive seen him in the past few years on one hand. I wanted to know if there is anyway he knew I loved him? And that I wasn't angry at him?

I don't know how many of you believe in a heaven or hell here, but does it matter how devout...or even if you are a believer to get there?

With two things, not just one.

I'm a young girl, and I think I may have a "psychic" abilities my entire life. Not sure though.. I just seem to get visions in dreams and such. Did anyone else start out like this?
I mean like, people that are DEAD, are coming to me in my dreams. As if they're trying to tell me something. My boyfriends uncle that passed a few years ago continues to come to me in my dreams with a skinny women, who shoots him. He was murdered, yes, but it was supposedly an accident? So why do I keep getting this vision?

And if I'm clairvoyant like I believe I am, wouldn't I be able to locate this lost ring? I seemed to have misplaced a very sentimental claddagh ring. It's gold, with an emerald in the middle, and I've tried every technique imaginable, I just can't seem to find it! Anywhere! And it's driving me insane. Why does this psychic ability seem to come when I don't need it - then vanish when I very drastically do. All things considered, I'm practically driving myself into a depression, crying myself to sleep, etc - just because I can't find this ring.

This is a way of asking for your advice - and your help.

I have dreams but I have a hard time determining when I am being told to do something and when I am being told something is going to happen and example of such is this one vision I had (not dream but vision, I was wide awake) where I walk into the cafe' of my college and I see a wild man thrashing about on the floor with a worrior/doctor (he was both at the same time as in he was two seperate entities not that he was a doctor who was a worrior) restraining him, I walked around them untill I was onthe other side of them, then I walked up to themand kneel beside them when the wild man starts trying to push his 3 foot long toune into me, then all of a sudden I am back in the doorway walking back into the room everything is the same exept once I get to the other side of the men I notice (not the me in the vision but the me having the vision) that there is another man this time standing with a half face mask covining the left side of his face (it was made from leather) with his arms crossed, and it is like he is saying just stand there, (it wasnt so much a voice or even a voice inside my head but just a feeling like he was holking me back) (fyi as faras I have figured out all of the figures in there are me, the one who I viewed as me as me as a whole, the worrior/doctor was my worrior side holding back the wild man, the wild man is the side that had been affected by jimmy(jimmy is the name of a dark spirit who still to this day wants me dead but luckily I got rid of him, even though he still wants me dead he hasnt come anywhere near me) and the man wearing the mask is my heyoka side)

first clairvoyant experience

I had what I feel like was my first clairvoyant experience yesterday. At least I cannot recall ever having an image pop into my head like that before where it seemed almost definitely a message.

I was doing a phone reading for a woman (I use tarot cards to tap into psychic intuition) and the woman was asking if she would ever marry, if so, what the guy would look like, etc.

And suddenly I just had this extremely vivid image of a man, shoulders up. He was a light-skinned black man, clean cut, shortish hair. The image popped into my head and then left almost as quickly, but I also got the impression of someone who would be likely to dress in dress pants and button up shirts on a daily basis.

I almost dismissed the image, thinking that it did not really mean anything, that my imagination had just constructed an image of who I might assume this woman would be interested in. But... actually, if I were assuming who she'd be interested in, he's NOT the kind of person I would have assumed, really (other than perhaps race). And then I drew the High Priestess, telling me to just pay attention to the image I was getting.

So I did, and I told her what the man had looked like that I had seen, and she responded very favorably. I asked her if this is the kind of man she usually goes for and she said yes.

I would like to be able to utilize clairvoyant knowledge more readily (would be so, so helpful when answering certain types of questions like the one this woman asked), but I'm not sure how. I've tried before to no success, and this image just seemed to pop out of nowhere. ???

Time Sequence...

Has anyone else been noticing time sequences such as 11:11, 3:33, 4:44, 5:55 etc?

Since the journey of Shamanism was chosen for me and I ventured into this path sometime mid 2008, I have been so aware of the time sequences. I have been researching such things. It seems that I am not the only one. The time sequence 11:11 a.m and p.m ALWAYS comes up as it does when I make purchases. Now I know that this is a specific time frame that opens up an awareness and others have felt it to. But the interesting thing about this specific number sequence is that even when I am at the store purchasing something, I come up with the total of 11.11.

Recently, I purchased the book "11:11: The time prompt phenomenon" by Marie D. Jones and Larry Flaxman. It's an amazing book indeed as I get further along in the book...It is a cosmic mystery that is beginning to unravel.

The interesting thing about this specific time sequence is that others across the country whom I am soulfully connected with also noticed the sequences. They've been asking me what it means and I will tell them when things come to me. It is preparing us for what is to come on the winter solstice in 2012 at the time 11:11 a.m. comes around. It's not the end of the world as many people think according to the Mayan Calender which is believed to end on 12/21/12 but in fact, will open up a doorway with certain alignments of planets and the sun and the milky way. Oh and in case people do not know, the Mayan calender does not end then, it ends a 2500 year cycle but will begin once again as their calender starts all over.

Has anyone else noticed the time sequences or number sequences?

Weird things that happen around me.

So As I said before this is the second reason I'm here. From the time I was about five I could tell that things were gonna happen before they did. It started When my grandparents were in a car wreck I told my mom about it and not five minutes later the EMTs were calling saying that they were taking my grandparents to the ER. I can remember when I was little looking thourgh old photos of my family and telling my mom who people were that I had never seen before.
The main one being my uncle who had died 11 months to the day before I was born. I would tell my mom things about him that there was no way I could know. Every body says I look and act just like him.
As I got older i could tell some stuff would happen before it would and never tell anyone because I didnt' want them to think I was weird... well except my mom..
As I got older I still had imaginary firends when most kids would be loosing them except mine were not always imaginary. They had the names of people that our family knew and I would describe them in accurate detail. A ton of stuff happened where I knew stuff there was no way I could know. Unitl 1994 when my God parents were shot and killed and I saw the whole thing in my dreams before is happened but my mom simply dismissed it as a bad dream and did nothing. for the longest time I blamed myself for not stopping it.
then nothing happened well things would happen but I would block them out. I feel kinda weird and see "sparkly gnats" before I know something if that makes since, so I learned to blcok it out I guess as a defense mechnisim.
Last summer one of our renters come in and I knew she was pregnant. I just knew it there was no doubt in my mind. I asked her if she had been to the dr. lately and she said no that she had an appt the next day and I told her that she was pregnant and it was gonna be a litle boy. After she left I called the baby Jacob without thinking. the next day she came and told us that sure enought she was. I am seeing the "sparkly gnats" more and more lately and I try not to let it bother me. It doens't really I just don't know what to do about it.
I used to think I was weird, am I or am I speial....

Feel to ask me anything I'm pretty much an open book and will answer anything if anyone one can help me understand what's was and is going on.

How are we doing? What have we beein picking up on lately? Any causes for alarm? Are we functioning at all like a tribe or just as a group of people that has to take on anyone who has one of those life crises that seems to vanish in a day or so?

night sweats anyone?

wondering if any women are experiencing night sweats? or any men too. noticing quite a few of my women friends of various ages some way too early for menopause like 29 and 32 yrs old are having serious night sweats. Myself i'm going through early menopause at 43 which is rather frustrating but this is rather alarming that so many other women are experiencing this at various ages. would love to hear any thoughts on this.

Very unsure what to do and it's makeing me sick litterally

Last year as a gift from a friend I recieved an Email psycic reading from a friend as a birthday gift. I was told that my life would "work it's self out by jan 10' right now I am so frustrated so much has happened in the last month and a half most of which I don't understand why I'm stuck in the middle of it. I find myself in a situation were I want to stick it out but only if it's gonna come to any good. emotionally I can't take being hurt right now with all the other crap going on. hello everyone i just wondering if anyone can see if i will ride threw this horrible storm because i have suffered from anixety when i was younger threw stress and school but it has triggered off again and i do not want to worry my family because they have lot's on there plate right now i am on tablets for sleeping and i;ve gone a little bit better and more focused but when i sit down i cannot control it i have triggered it off by not sleeping and thinking over things to make my heart beat so hard, this has been happening for the last 5 days and its horrible please anyone out there help me,i have been to the doctors and he has gave me pills but i have never taken pills for anxiety before

Energy Vortexes

Hello all,

I am new to this tribe and am wondering if anyone here has felt recently a new energy calling them since 8-8-08. I have been and the feeling is growing everyday. I am being pulled to the Arkansas Mountains and to Sedona AZ. I know both areas to have Energy Vortexes and am just wondering if anyone else is having this same experience. I have never been to AZ but I have been to AK several times. This feeling is more like a "need to go" than a feeling of "gee I'd like to visit" feeling. I'm so scared/confused about my future! Please, any advice is welcome!

I've always known exactly what I wanted to do in my life. However, as the time is finally drawing near for me to move out and really become independant, I feel very confused about how exactly to take my first step. I've always relied on my feelings to tell me what path to follow, but as i've tried to decide where to go, or what I need to do to achieve my goals, I find myself in a stupor of thought. Every time I try to make a plan, it doesn't feel right, or something happens to prevent me from going that direction! There is nothing more I want than to pursue this career path, and there have been so many confermations that it is right for me. It is simply the fact that I can not seem to find the path that I should take to achieve this goal. If there is anyone that could give me a reading, or simply tell me what feeling you get about this situation I would appreciate it so much. Looking for advice and/or a reading

My name is Ian, and I'm in a bit of a quandary. I'm looking for advice, insight, anything that can help me in relation to a female friend of mine. Under normal circumstances, I would already have my answers or know what to do, but events have and are unfolding in a manner I have no experience with.

I am someone who realize a lot on my gut, my intuition, and it never fails me, although on occasion when dealing with situations, I do have difficulty distinguishing a desire from a feeling until I have the benefit of hindsight. The situation I am seeking help on is just such a instance. My gut is telling me one thing, and has been from the moment I met her, but my logical side tells me the other. She and I have already discussed this matter, twice; the first time gave absolutely no resolution, the second she said she wants to be just friends. Now normally, I would just have accepted that and that would have been the end of it, but she is still sending signals to the contrary, i think my gut is telling me she hasn't said the whole story, and I almost feel a need to pursue her. I am torn on what to do as I don't want to risk doing something to harm the friendship that I do have with her.

I have only had one occurrance in my life where I have actually seen a "ghost" On vacation in Florida when I was 15 my family and I stayed at a 1950s hotel we stayed at many times. I had not really believed in the paranormal (or didn't want to). I got up, hot needing a glass of water, walked down the hall and nearly tripped over a bluish white toddler that flew out of the wall diagonally, crossed my path, and dissappeared into the other wall, smiling a weird smile and bobbing its head around--looking right at me. He was sitting in one of those scooters with the tray on front. I never totally understood what it was all about. My brother was about the same age as this baby and we had even brought along a scooter that looked like that, kind of, though I couldn't say the entity really looked like my brother, per se. I kind of think most babies of that age look the same for the most part. In fact, my brother's scooter was in the utility closet next to where the ghost came out. I know for a fact it was not my imagination. Every hair on my arm stood up and it was sooo real. I even pinched arm when it was happening to make sure. My brother was totally sound asleep and of course, fine. He did however have a twin that was never born. My mom miscarried that twin before it was even 4 months into the pregnancy. Also, I considered the prospect that it could have been the ghost of a child that had, perhaps died at some point in the hotels existence (drowned in the pool right outside the sliding glass door?)
I have wondered if it is possible that my infant brother could have been dreaming about scooting around in his scooter and I just happened to run into "his spirit" while it was out joyriding (does that happen ever?) Or, if it could be the spirit of another child, even his miscarried twin?(again, don't know if that's even possible). I just have never been able to put it together and was curious if anyone who was knowledgeable might offer some perspective. Thanks.

Hello, I'm new here. I have a question about a very odd experience and was wondering if anyone else knows of similar ones.
I'm a quite sensitive person to other people's "psychic or emotional auras" (however you want to term it) but would not regard myself as especially gifted in terms of psychic abilities.
About two years ago I had a sort of panic attack (not usually prone to them) and words started playing over and over in my mind - "Dead! Someone's dead? Dying/" etc. It was like a premonition of someone's death but in the days that followed I did not discover that anyone I knew had died and so eventually just shelved the experience to the back of my mind as weird and unexplained.
Then, this summer I met a young woman in an online chat site and we developed a very close relationship together. A month or so after meeting her, by which time we were firmly bonded as friends after long daily text chats and a few phonecalls, I discovered that she had a Near Death Experience, whereby she died for nearly 20 minutes before resuscitating. It turns out that this occured a day or two (not 100% sure of dates, may have been same day) after my Death Premonition. Is it merely coincidence or some sort of synchronistic occurence or what? Is it possible to telepathically connect with someone you have not yet met?

Unusual medium occurrence

Today I was at the doctor getting a massage from someone I had never met before. While lying face-down on the massage table, I had the vision in my mind's eye that two large, dark animals, first thought was dogs, then horses, were enthusiastically trying to get my attention. I asked the massage therapist if she was a dog or horse owner, and she said yes, that she had 3 Rottwielers (sp?) but had to have two of them euthanized in the past three months. It was then clear that they recognized me as a portal through which they might communicate with her, and made their presence known. Since I don't speak dog (LOL!), there was no particular message other than entusiasm to see her (the therapist).

It has been quite some time since I had such an experience and thought it was cool. Hope I did not freak the poor girl out!

A Fair Question?

Just throwing this out there, since I'm curious.......

I realize people are clairvoyant to varying degrees.
But I really don't understand why those who claim to be extremely accurate (those who have been on TV, etc...) can't find the missing children that become so famous? For instance, the missing Madeleine McCann..... or now Caylee Anthony down in Florida? Where are all these extremely psychic people? I don't get it. I feel like an idiot when I'm trying to tell someone about psychic ability and they ask me why the missing children have not been found, if people are so psychic? Then I get asked about spirit guides, and why they aren't telling anyone where to look.... It makes this particular psychic field look fraudulent. And yet, I know there are psychic detectives who assist the police. So again I wonder, how come no one has located these missing kids? Psychics appear to receive visions of all sorts of other things. What about remote viewers? Why haven't they located Caylee Anthony? Surely someone must have thought about her.... When you get to the message board about Caylee's disappearance, you can read so many different "signs" from those who claim to be psychic.... and yet one contradicts the other. Makes me wonder how much control we really have over psychic phenomenon? I don't see Sylvia Browne telling anyone where Madeleine McCann is.

My clairvoyant ability is at random. Is that how it is with everyone else? Thus, no one can "tune in" to find a missing child unless some higher power decides to reveal it to them? I don't want to offend anyone, I'm just pondering all this out of frustration that no one can find certain missing children.

Can you connect without trying?

Hi there, hope you are all well. I would just like some advice as to recent goings on with myself. Im not sure its my imagination or what but its bothering me enough to seek some guidance with people who know what they are talking about!

Over the last few weeks a few things have baffled me. These seem to happen at night when im in that limbo stage of just about to fall asleep. The first time this happened i heard my name spoken, it was enough to jarr me awake and have a look round the room. I didnt think anything of it to be honest and put it down to my imagination. However last night and another night several days before i was laying in bed eyes open in that kind of day dreaming way where your not actually looking at anything in particular (im sorry im not very good at explaining things) One of my arms went cold, i have no idea if this has relivance to anything i just remember thinking that and then shortly after i saw (it frustrates me to try and describe this) light but not a light that would light up a room (???) it was like stringy shards shimmering/ flickering, i cant pick out one colour as such. I saw a hairy ball (sorry i just dont know how to explain it) stationary level with my eyes. To the right of this i saw movement what looked like shoulders and back of head moveing as if walked out the door also in this kind of shimmery shard light. There was nothing solid in either form.
I have also heard footsteps on my stairs.

I am really confused, im a regular visitor to mediums and each have mentioned that i will link with spirits and they will work with me. It is not something i have dwelled on, nor thought about untill last night as it was the second time i saw something. Im just a normal young single mum and i feel a bit odd and confused. I dont feel like i can talk to my freinds at the moment about this in case the think ive gone mad. Can anybody rest my mind and tell me im dreaming or is something actually going on around me?

I saw how my life would end at a very young age. And I have always known of less significant events before they happened.

My mother went to see a psychic about a year ago, who told her that when she was pregnant with her oldest son Sean, she may have been pregnant with twins. She went on to tell my mum that the other twin may have decided it wasn't his place nor his time to incarnate, and sort of 'backed out' of the cycle.. I am my mothers only daughter, the youngest of two; for me this means I may have had another older brother or sister. I wanted to know if someone could help me understand.... was this true? It has been pulling at my heartstrings for a while now, and I'm seeking clarification. If this is true, can you tell me what happened to him/her? Why did he/she not come through? If that soul was a he or a she? if they chose to incarnate close to us (a new baby was born just before Christmas on my mom's side of the family, could he be him/her?) or has he stayed in the spirit world? Has he/she chosen to watch over us as a spirit guide..?

For a long time I had wanted another or different older brother or sister because my current brother and I are not close. Please, I would really appreciate your answer and your honesty.. and i thank you for this service. I do not have a job or a credit card, so I cannot afford to hire a psychic myself or even do online readings, and i've asked and asked my mom to go back to the psychic, but she will not.
I am not 18, I am 16.. but i'm so desperate for some answers.. sometimes i stop to think about what life would have been like as the youngest of three children.. how different i might be if i had an extra, maybe more loving sibling role model, and why that soul chose to reincarnate into our family.. Namaste All! Need a little help please....

A small group of us here in Oregon have started this amazing healing drum circle, to heal ourselves, and the Earth.
Basically what we are doing is Shamanic drumming and a journey at the same time. It's an amazing experience that we all travel through together and individually. We have raised enormous amounts of energy for such a small group, and we thought, "Hey! If we can do this, imagine what one million people could do!" This is where I humbly ask for everyone's assistance :-)

We would like to organize a worldwide (if that's possible) drum circle. We feel that the Summer Solstice would give us enough time to put something together. No one has to travel, however we are encouraging everyone to do the drumming and journeying outside (absolutely not required). It would be wonderful if we could get people involved from everywhere, as our planet and our species is in dire need of help.
This is also something we plan on doing every year.
All we are asking is that you pass it on. Save the date and tell everyone you know.

I have done some research of my own accord, and discovered (okay, I am pretty new to all of these experiences that I am having here) that our Mother Earth has her own Chakra's! See link for info and map below........
And the point of that is.....that if we focused our energies into those chakra's and opening them up, get them flowing again, we can help heal this planet. Much cleansing will be done on Mother's part, but I know we can bring back balance.

It is very frustrating knowing that our precious Earth is in the hands of those who don't respect, don't care, or have no intrest in healing her. We are doing everything we can to open minds, enlighten spirits, and lead the way to a new Earth.
We hope that you will join us on this journey :-)

SALEM, Mass. — Lawyers have the bar exam. Accountants have the CPA exam.

Should Salem's fortunetellers have to pass a test of their own to prove they're psychic?

City councilors, hoping to crack down on fraudulent fortunetellers, are trying to define exactly how a psychic can become licensed to set up shop in the Witch City. They want candidates to undergo a criminal background check and to either live or run a business in Salem for at least a year.

But many psychics want the city to go a step further | make sure they're actually qualified to predict the future.

"It's become a free-for-all," said Laurie Cabot, the official witch of Salem. "Anyone who says they're psychic can come into the city. We don't even know where they come from. We don't know their qualifications."

For more than three hours this week, city councilors listened to two dozen witches and psychics | many clad in black and wearing pentacles | as they explained the tools of their trade.

"There has to be criteria or you're going to get garbage coming here," Barbara Szafranski, the owner of Angelica of the Angels, predicted. "Everybody here is a legitimate person who's worked for years and years. ... When you do a reading, you hold a person's life right in your hands. We have people come to us who are willing to commit suicide, who won't go to a psychiatrist, so they come to us."

"What are the criteria?" asked a baffled Councilor-at-large Joan Lovely. "Is there schooling?"

"No one under the age of 20 should be doing readings, because they don't have the life experience," said Szafranski, who suggested creating a committee that would screen prospective psychics.

When Cabot became the first person in Salem to be granted a fortunteller's license decades ago, she said she first had to perform a legitimate reading in front of a police officer.

"He sat down with me, I did a psychic reading, he was pleased with the reading, and I got my license," Cabot said.

'There are nuts out there'

Some city councilors seemed to agree that psychics should have to provide more than just a business plan and a crystal ball before setting up shop.

"I'm completely unqualified to be a reader, but by these criteria I could make it by the Licensing Board," Ward 2 Councilor Michael Sosnowski said.

Councilors are considering requiring pyschics to submit a five-year employment history and their educational background before their license is granted.

"Every reader in this room is legitimate," said Doug Johnson, a psychic at Pyramid Books who wants candidates to show their experience and training before becoming licensed. "But there are nuts out there | people that are not mentally there."

The city took up the issue almost a year ago, mainly to prevent fortunetellers from blatantly ripping off consumers by demanding lucrative payments in return for lifting a curse or removing a "black cloud."

One woman paid more than $2,000 for readings at a Salem shop, where she was told she had a black aura around her, according to Szafranski.

"Then one day she came into my shop crying," Szafranski told city councilors. "I said, 'You don't have a black aura. Sit down and I'll show you your aura on my machine.' And it was blue and wonderful."

City councilors modeled the regulations after those used by San Francisco, which licenses between 30 and 40 fortunetellers.

But they ran into trouble trying to define the practice of fortunetelling and opted to scrap a line referring to it as casting spells, removing curses, and administering potions to "recover property, stop bad luck, give good luck, put bad luck on a person or animal ... shorten a person's life ... make one person marry or divorce another, induce a person to make or alter a will, (or) tell where money or property is hidden."

"Fortunetelling is divination," Amy Ravish said. "It's the use of skills and tools to do psychic counseling. What you're talking about really sounds strange."

Councilors are expected to revisit the topic. Among the other issues, councilors plan to limit to 10 the number of licensed psychics that can read at psychic fairs and to allow shop owners to set up their own fairs.

"We don't portray ourselves in a horrific way," Cabot said. "We don't bilk people or try to take advantage of people. We're hard workers."

According to a draft of the city's proposed regulations for psychics, fortunetelling would be defined as:

"the telling of fortunes, forecasting of futures, or reading the past, by means of any occult, psychic power, faculty, force, clairvoyance, cartomancy, psychometry, phrenology, spirits, tea leaves, tarot cards, scrying, coins, sticks, dice, sand, coffee grounds, crystal gazing or other such reading, or through mediumship, seership, prophecy, augury, astrology, palmistry, necromancy, mindreading, telepathy or other craft, art, science, talisman, charm, potion, magnetism, magnetized article or substance, or by any such similar thing or act."
