Hello all,
I'm a chronic lurker, but would love to have some input from you all. I am an intuitive reader and hypnotherapist and I've been trying to get my business off the ground and it has been a lot of work and the energy needed is amazing. I was wondering if anyone else here does spiritual work professionally and what, if anything they do to ground and re-energize.
blessings,
Kim

Re: Professional spiritual workers?
Wed, April 11, 2007 - 1:13 AMApril 1 was my 8 year anniversary in the same commercial location.
I have a "walk in service" where I read palms and tarot.
Self awareness is my grounding.
I follow my gut and maintain my bounderis in a highly strict fashion...this helps immensely. -

Re: Professional spiritual workers?
Mon, April 16, 2007 - 10:15 AMGrounding as I have come to know it results from any actions that allow me to feel the body deeply. Whether this means going for a walk or lifting weights or doing pushups or sexual experiences, grounding requires meeting the body's central need for being felt deeply. I have seen many pyschics over-eat and bloat out into obesity as a way of grounding themselves, maybe not on purpose yet all those extra pounds (and gravity) certainly forces one to feel the body deeply by making the body work much harder to do anything. -

Mon, April 16, 2007 - 11:49 AMI find that I am much more grounded when I exercise. So, it is really a good motivator to do it every morning.
