So As I said before this is the second reason I'm here. From the time I was about five I could tell that things were gonna happen before they did. It started When my grandparents were in a car wreck I told my mom about it and not five minutes later the EMTs were calling saying that they were taking my grandparents to the ER. I can remember when I was little looking thourgh old photos of my family and telling my mom who people were that I had never seen before.
The main one being my uncle who had died 11 months to the day before I was born. I would tell my mom things about him that there was no way I could know. Every body says I look and act just like him.
As I got older i could tell some stuff would happen before it would and never tell anyone because I didnt' want them to think I was weird... well except my mom..
As I got older I still had imaginary firends when most kids would be loosing them except mine were not always imaginary. They had the names of people that our family knew and I would describe them in accurate detail. A ton of stuff happened where I knew stuff there was no way I could know. Unitl 1994 when my God parents were shot and killed and I saw the whole thing in my dreams before is happened but my mom simply dismissed it as a bad dream and did nothing. for the longest time I blamed myself for not stopping it.
then nothing happened well things would happen but I would block them out. I feel kinda weird and see "sparkly gnats" before I know something if that makes since, so I learned to blcok it out I guess as a defense mechnisim.
Last summer one of our renters come in and I knew she was pregnant. I just knew it there was no doubt in my mind. I asked her if she had been to the dr. lately and she said no that she had an appt the next day and I told her that she was pregnant and it was gonna be a litle boy. After she left I called the baby Jacob without thinking. the next day she came and told us that sure enought she was. I am seeing the "sparkly gnats" more and more lately and I try not to let it bother me. It doens't really I just don't know what to do about it.
I used to think I was weird, am I or am I speial....
Feel to ask me anything I'm pretty much an open book and will answer anything if anyone one can help me understand what's was and is going on.

Re: Weird things that happen around me.
Tue, April 14, 2009 - 2:16 AMHildegard of Bingen was another clairsentient who had inicpient migraines. Sometimes the two go together. The floating sparkles are the clue. The headache may or may not progress ~ most often it does not progress into a full-blown migraine. I think you are clairsentient rather than clairvoyant, from what you have described. -

Re: Weird things that happen around me.
Tue, April 14, 2009 - 6:17 AMIt is very important to decide to whom to tell what you can KNOW.. before it happens. It sounds like you already realize that.
Having this capability or gift.. is special.. most people hav eit but by living in normal? society with its demanss and ssocial training one loses track of it.
There are many books on developing i tif you choose.. Sonia Choquette, is an excellent author and has a website.
Sparkling gnats is an astute phrase..
I would say that with the stress you ar ein and in the livign situation.. headaches woudl eb understandable.. you rfather's strictness.. woudl send out very strong energy which could remain in air and be hurtful.
I seem to remember in your pfirst post .. you said you sort of knew what to do.. it sounds liek you really do know.
Personal safety is first.
Then getting to a place away from you r home for longer stretchesof time to breathe and more sound best.

Re: Weird things that happen around me.
Tue, April 14, 2009 - 9:38 AMI don't get headaches... well every now and then but they are very selfdom with the sparkles. I don't tell people when I see them but a few close friends can tell (most of whom I only get to see once or twice a year becuase they live out of state) becuase they have known me since I was little.
When I mentioned them to my mom when I was little she had me examined for everything under the sun and all my nerlogical tests came back just fine. But IDK.
The situation I mentioned in my first post was not ment to be my faimly situation it was another situation I am in but as time goes on and I get more and more information on it I'm really not sure anymore what to do -

Re: Weird things that happen around me.

Re: Weird things that happen around me.
Tue, April 14, 2009 - 12:05 PMI am 23 CNA level 1 cirtified who went to college for two years got all my prereqs out of the way for the RN program, I have the 2/3 of my intrupters lincense out of the way With the family situation I am for the time being college is something that I can't really do, I have recentlly looked into finding something mayb brodcasting or the like that I could get my degree online. A job.. I was working at KFC part time I explained my situation when I started and they told me that they would work with me but basically told me that if I took my mom to the ER when she was throwing up blood that I would be fired so I quit... Most emploiers are not real fond of their employees having to work around multiple scheduals to work. Finincally we are doing fine. between my mom disability and what we can get from my dad we are doing fine. My grandfather gives me money if there is ANYTHING I want, I mean he just bought me a new laptop not two weeks ago. I take care of all of his finances, and rental stuff... I really don't see anything wrong with the situation that I'm in with my family (other than my dad, which I really can't do anything about, so I make the best of it, I am asleep when he leaves for work in the mornings and I leave to go to my grandparents to take them dinner shortly after he comes home from work and then I go out with my firneds) -

Re: Weird things that happen around me.
Tue, April 14, 2009 - 12:27 PMI would opt for a volunteer-style job that would offer that flexibility, but would also allow you your own life. You need it to preserve your mental peace...or to find it, with all you're going through at home. Being a peer mentor to a child would offer a challenge, though it might also be a different type of strain, since your home life keeps you so adjusted and focused. Take a creative class...poetry perhaps...or just find an outlet to have fun. You need that, and it will help with what you're sharing too. When the creativity of the universe takes over, so many answers are found...simply in the process. -

Re: Weird things that happen around me.
Tue, April 14, 2009 - 5:04 PMwell I am not sure your story adds up.
You couldn't possibly have completed 2 years of college and spell as badly as you do.
You came here with a sad tale and now it is not so sad. You made it sound like you were isolated... now you have a lot gongn on.
Maybe you have dyspelia, but I don't think so.
I think you came on here to play around. I am sorry I wasted the energy. amiable called it right away. -
-
This is the maximum depth. Additional responses will not be threaded.
Re: Weird things that happen around me.
Tue, April 14, 2009 - 6:18 PMif by dyspelia you mean dyslexia than yes.. it's called a learning disablity and if I take my time and reread everything I right I can usually catch most of what I misspell... or maybe you ment dysplasia but I'm not real sure what a growth would have to do with anything...or why we would be talking about my digestion is you ment dyspepsia???
I never every said anything about being isolated or having no friends, in fact if I remember correctlly I have mentioned in most of my post my friends.
I never came here to talk about my family life... I would have never brought that up unless someone hadn't mentioned that I needed to reduce my stress level
I'm not one to stick around were I'm not wanted... I have talked with amiablehermit off the boards and she seems like a woderful person. If ya'll want me to I will leave and not bother coming back I simple thought that I may be able to get a little insite on what was going on in my life.... I'm starting to think that the girl who refered me here hasn't been on in a while becuase she siad that ya'll were great but I feel like I have been attacked again... the first time was cleared up and I'm glad that I stuck around becuse the off board conversation was quite insiteful. -

Re: Weird things that happen around me.
Tue, April 14, 2009 - 6:59 PMWhoa. Now, I am not going to argue with you about your feelings ~ they are what they are, and frankly I understand your having them. But too often people give up around here before their story has really played out. If we can get focused, which, believe me, can be hard for a bunch like us to do, I think we can come up with some powerful resources and some really good stuff for you. But you need to be patient with this rag tag bunch of folks who actually really don't even know each other well at all. I sense a great deal of strength in you, even though you are so young, which I do not say as a deprecating term because I believe in the value of youth. But, of course, the one thing that youth lacks is the experience that comes over time. And here you need your leap of faith. You have it. You just need to be patient with us. I totally see you teaching us where we have not been able to teach ourselves. Maybe you can look at it that way, too. -

Re: Weird things that happen around me.
Wed, April 15, 2009 - 6:55 AMI'm willing to stick around I just don't really like the high schoolish attack. I'm out of high school and HATED it then I want to find how this thing workds and go from there. I noticed that ya'll aren't super close nit becuase only a few people ever say anything but that's usually the way the way these things go or there are clicks. :) -

Wed, April 15, 2009 - 7:52 AMwhatever
You entered th etribe with a very needy approach and mined us for info..
NO thank yous..
just oh no what yousaid does nto help because..
go back.
you said advic efrom friends went both ways and didnt help.. Youalso said you had friends who used you.
Good friends .. good ones have communication which goes both ways. Theysay 'thankyou fo rthinking about this" they say "I am sorry .. I left something out."
Communication/energy exchange goes both ways.. if you act as a vampire, asking all the time and not appreciating well then your life will hav emany vampire pieces to it.
Get your head on straight about giving and receiving energy.. positive things in your life which you can share.
Comin gto a board for advice/help/ venting is fien.. bu texpecting that peopople fall all ove ryou to listen/ help/ blah blah.. is what you can expect but you may not just ge tit.
Agfain I feel like I wasted tiem talking to you. I amme. Amiable is her. She generally has a different take onthings than I do.
There are about another 800 people in this tribe. Go after them. -

Re: Weird things that happen around me.
Wed, April 15, 2009 - 6:40 PMMore likely very divergent personalities and opinions rather than cliques here.
I think that one thing that is good to understand about the psychic tribes here is that you are going to get a wide range of sensitivities and personalities that do not necessarily confrom to the usual social codes. I would like to remind you that the psychically gifted are not necessarily the most stable element of the population. They have a greater balancing act than most people need to deal with. My best advice here is to take what you can from it. Give what you are moved to give. Then find the rest along the road you are on. That's all any of us really do anyway. -
-
Re: Weird things that happen around me.
Wed, April 15, 2009 - 6:57 PMYeah...
Just talking is not a solution to anything..
Undertake the actions that form in your mind...
You need to find independance, release from bonds that force you to keep you in your hurt position..
If personal happiness is what you are after, GO for it...
Leave and let go.. forgive yourself to do so..
It is you and only you who shapes your life..
You can find guidance, but the actions you have to perform yourself...
No one is waiting to help you but your self...
There is a fire burning in you to go your own way..
BURN... or forgive yourself to be a slave to circumstance..
Seriously.. and sincerely
You live your life for you, not for anyone else... -

Re: Weird things that happen around me.
Wed, April 15, 2009 - 7:27 PMBut Geert. That is not so easy or so wise. There are serious issues of responsibility that get woven in. Those can have a HUGE impact in a person's feeling of worth and conscience. Not at all to be taken out of an equation or minimized as mere obstructions to personal fulfillment. When life literally stuffs you into caretaking on one level or another, it becomes very difficult to be so self-interested to the exclusion of a troubled family, for example. And the truth is that you just never know don't how much that involvement is crucial to the evolution of that soul. Self is often found outside of self. -
-
Re: Weird things that happen around me.
Wed, April 15, 2009 - 7:39 PMThen find comfort in being a slave to circumstance...
Be happy with that... and give all you can if that is what you choose... is what is say...
Give the fullest even in your suffering...
If there is no way out, then surrender... Work from that...
Only acceptance of the situation makes room for new things, then you are able to cope and change this thing, work from that situation as a base.. An acceptation and forgiving of yourself...
It is the desire to other realities that brings forth a suffering and pain..
You can't please anyone, so I say... choose for yourself...no good or bad in that..
It is what you allow yourself to sacrifice and receive... find the harmony and balance in that...

Re: Weird things that happen around me.
Wed, April 15, 2009 - 7:52 PMSlavery is different from devotion. She should not see herself as a slave to her circumstances, but rather, a devoted servant to what has become a path of self-realization, though not necessarily of her choosing. Sometimes, Geert, life just thrusts us where we need to be regardless of whether it would be our first choice or not. Surrender ~perhaps ~ or perhaps a necessary compromise within one's self to be more for another or others at least for a while, not necessarily always. The issue is really not about pleasing anyone. It is about squaring with yourself. What you can and cannot do, and juggling the consequences. It is a very tough act, but also a very instructive one when it comes to understanding the nature of give and take. Within the "sacrifices," you also find what cannot be sacrficed within yourself. And that you draw the line on. We often need to see the limits of self and other rather plainly, and that doesn't often happen outside of conflict, crisis, and confrontation. -
-
Re: Weird things that happen around me.
Wed, April 15, 2009 - 8:09 PMYeah...
But you need to be confronted with the options..
Confronted with the self within that situation of grief...
I'm not saying it's easy.. it is not...
But accepting yourself being in that situation is so important.
Only there you can grow your potential in different fields..
Work from what is.. instead of from a desire or a dream...
When you know what you got, you can forward it... dig..?
From there is where life starts..
But I don't know either...
Just my opinion... -
-
Re: Weird things that happen around me.
Wed, April 15, 2009 - 9:40 PMIt is all our opinions here, in the end. But I do think we agree that without challenge, there is not much chance of growing.

Re: Weird things that happen around me.
Thu, April 16, 2009 - 5:35 AMwell, acceptted sefl ver servant over slave..
the point tho' is that we all have choices about what we are doing.
We also have choices re how we braodcast our situation.. how we do so .. contributes to how people first read us and their responses. -

Re: Weird things that happen around me.
Tue, April 14, 2009 - 5:24 PMWith an incipient migraine, you won't have a headache.
Just so you know, with an ocular migraine, your field of viison is blind in the center, and and you see something like a plasma kaleidoscope around the edges of your vision. This last for almost a half an hour before it clears, and then often a mind crushing headache will come on that can make you nauseated. Abdominal migraines are felt all over the body and last several days. I have had all these types. But there is no headache with the squirmy, "sparkly" incipient migraine. You just sort of see moving stars. -

Re: Weird things that happen around me.
Tue, April 14, 2009 - 6:21 PMso they always move... becasue when I see them if I focus on them they stop and that's when I get the "feelings" and I know something before it happens... I try not to focus on them because I never want to know that bad things are gonna happen I don't want to know about something like that and not be able to stop it. I'll go do some research on it, and see what I come up with... thank you for the information. -

Re: Weird things that happen around me.
Tue, April 14, 2009 - 7:02 PMWhat you describe is really not unusual for a clairsentient. I don't think you will be comfortable with it until you understand it better and live with it longer. That's ok. There's no deadline.
